Objectives

SparrBox set out to launch a platform that connects boxers and boxing clubs to easily organize sparring sessions. The goal was to validate the system architecture, ensure scalability, and deliver a seamless user experience across different boxer categories (White Collar, Amateur, Professional).

Analysis and Planning

The main challenge was to transform a complex concept, with multiple flows such as account creation, sparring session booking, identity verification, points and rewards, into a production-ready application. Key priorities included secure identity checks, payment integration, and real-time notifications.

System Architecture

We designed a modular architecture that included:

Frontend with dynamic forms tailored to each user type (boxer or club).
Backend handling identity verification, profile management, and sparring records.
External integrations: Google Maps for club locations, payment gateway with split fees, and push/email notifications for bookings and achievements.

Backoffice tools for managing points, rewards, and sparring session creation by clubs.

Integration and Testing

We simulated complete user flows:

Registration of boxers and clubs with data validation.
Creation and booking of sparring sessions with secure payments.
Automatic generation of points and rewards based on activity and achievements.
Real-time notifications to alert users about new sessions and milestones.

Testing confirmed that data was processed correctly, medical and licensing restrictions applied appropriately, and the overall experience was intuitive for both individual boxers and clubs.

The SparrBox project successfully transformed a complex idea into a scalable, production-ready platform. The application now offers a complete experience: from account creation to sparring session booking and rewards. With integrated verification, payments, and notifications, SparrBox is prepared to connect boxers and clubs in a safe, transparent, and engaging way.
